I've moved! I am officially a Massachusetts resident! Well, still need to get my new drivers license, but close enough. My husband decided to take a job in western Mass, so here we are! This move has had some perks and some setbacks. I am missing my friends from the north country and had to leave my full time job, but there are so many good things too. For one, I am currently not working (but looking) so I have been able to spend more time working on MoonberryStarberry and relaxing with my puppy.
Our new place has an extra bedroom so my husband has VERY generously let me use it while he has crammed his desk into our guest room. I have the whole room for sewing and keeping my business going. I love it! Now that I have the time and space I am hoping to get all my items posted to Etsy (finally!) and get going on creating some new things.
My first new project was a great success, if I do say so myself! It started with a gift that my aunt asked me to make. My young cousin puts diapers on her stuffed animals and my aunt asked if I would make her a diaper bag for them. I said of course, because I think - being someone who still has stuffed animals and thinks you can never be to old for them - it was the cutest thing ever. So I made up a small diaper bag with some pretty cute fabric and it came out really well. My family really liked it too, so I thought maybe I would try one out for Etsy. I think I will definitely make another one. Now I am on the lookout for more great fabric!
